I'm sure many of you have heard Captain Tom's story - the 99 year old war veteran who has walked 100 laps of his garden to raise money for the NHS ahead of his 100th birthday on 30th April. Over £14 million has been raised in honour of this remarkable achievement. A campaign has now begun for children (or anyone) to make and send birthday cards to Captain Tom to help him celebrate his big day. If you wish to take part in this, the cards are all to be sent to the address on the image below. Alternatively, I believe that sharing the cards online with the hashtag #makeacardfortom will also mean they will find their way to Tom.
